Replying To MuckrossHead:  "Whatever dubious merit that arguement might have had this happened in Thailand, it goes completely out the window when it happens in your own home town."
What argument? A few going lads out celebrating and a few strippers involved. You see the same at any stag party.

Replying To Ashman13:  "It was the chaps 21st i.e. a private party. Obviously being only 2 days after the County Final the cup was still floating about & lads celebrating. County Board or GAA cant touch them."
Congrats on the win mate and best of luck in Leinster!

Great to see such debate an interest in a hurling thread for a change

Are you from Ballyragget? It's well publicised that the players were trying to put out that rumour!

Hope this lad isn't looking for a job soon. Don't think there's many companies going to employ him. Wonder does he have a girlfriend, not now obviously.
It was not a 21st even their own Snapchat says that.

It was not a 21st. There's screenshots doing the rounds of the whatsapp conversations where everyone is being encouraged to lie by saying it was a 21st.

Except this wasn't a stag party & if you can't see the difference then nothing I can say is going to make any difference.

Not sure if it's true or not but Today FM was saying the explicit videos were sent to a mother of an u10 by accident. This is what is been reported in the news.
The whole concept of this lads banter turns me to be honest. It's like getting a free past to treat people horriblely and use the excuse of "lads banter."

Ballyragget should be stripped of their title.

Replying To GaaGaa78:  "So you think it's acceptable that they had 'strippers' going down them on them while being videoed? Lads who are supposed to be representing their clubs, lads that are supposed to lead by example for the younger kids coming through the club. You're alright, i'm perfectly happy being outraged by this because their behaviour was outrageously disgraceful."
It is not up to these lads to give an example to any child other then there own if the have any. The were silly but it was involving 2 consenting adults. Alot worst going on

Yes for doing something Silly when drunk there won't be too many people still employed in ireland if that is the case

I didn't say it was. A similar atmosphere. Young lads full of drink and bravado get a few strippers involved. Does it surprise or shock you?

It was sent to half of Ireland last night.

As long as Cody is in charge of Kilkenny a Ballyragget player won't get a whiff of a trial for the county. And the Intermediate champions are bound to have a player or two.

So you call that something silly. 2 lads in Kildare get suspended for lifting the cup that is something silly. This is something totally different. Would you not think .

Replying To FootblockREF:  "Kilkenny county board will have to pour over the rule book fairly well to find a law that states that they can block a club playing in the Championship because they have some idiots playing for them. And in a week where we had real human misery in sex abusers getting light sentences and Bankers treating us all like serfs, what of it? This is a bit like that lad who was shifting that girl in Euro 2012. It was big news for a few days and that was it. If the Kilkenny County Board have a wit of sense, they'll leave this alone."
Surely the Kilkenny County Board has the power to decide who can represent them outside of their county?

If I was Ned Quinn I would take the cup back from them as punishment and leave it there.

Ironically having to play in Leinster could be more punishment for them than not playing cos if they don't push on and win an All-Ireland all the auld fellas in the village will say it was because of their nocturnal activities.
