As a reward for winning 3 in a row, I think it is only right and fair that Dublin receives double the aid they are getting from the GAA.
It is more of a token than anything else, as money does not create championship winning sides. Also, it would ensure that soccer and rugby are kept in their box in the capital. Most importantly, if the money is doubled for Dublin, it would ensure that the standard would be kept nice and high, and all the other teams around the country would have to try harder to keep up and reach the benchmark they have set. A rising tide lifts all boats.
Finally, I think that when the Dubs lift sam for a 5th time in a row in 2019, they should rename Croke Park the AIG stadium as they are the biggest
sponsors in the GAA. Again, it is only right that the companies that give the most are rewarded in a unique and special way.

Would be great to see the likes of Donegal focussing on putting it up to Tyrone and Monaghan in Ulster next year. Or even giving the likes of Galway a decent game through the back door. Probably won't happen so best thing to do is switch focus and whine about Dublin.

We could see AIG throw the ball in the way the bishops used to, not beyond realms of possibility. Alas, the renaming of croke park may not be a joke. Look at landsdowne or the point depot either. Everything and everyone has their price. Not just AIG either. It could be the Ryanair stadium depending on who is involved. Sky stadium?? Most likely aig croke park - keeping croke park in the name would disclaim a lot of the responsibility.
I have a feeling that I am predicting the immediate future here.
Re being better off focusing on Donegal getting the house in order I am sure they are as we speak getting a plan and manager ready. This is not my job nor the job of all the other keyboard warriors from all the other counties on here. As a season ticket holder I will enjoy going to all the fixtures next year...it could be one of Croke parks last years.
