Crazy that McCarthy got it. Barratt was spectacular in all that he did but, for me, Keegan was the man who completely wiped out Dublin's playmaker and drove forward to get the goal and had to be hauled down to stop him scoring a second. Might be due to the fact that McCarthy was moved to wing back after 8 minutes of the first half when McCaffrey went off injured. I do wonder what some people do be looking at! Keegan? Totally anonymous for most of the game. He sharpened Kilkenny all over the place but I can't remember him turning ball over or actually tackling either McCarthy was immense yesterday. Kilkenny had his least influential performance of the year and that was all down to keegan but he was never going to get MOM as it is unseen work. Mccarthy dragged the dubs up the field when they looked to be in a small bit of trouble but I think it had to be barrett who got it but it always goes to the winner so they can have the interview from the hotel.
