Can Mayo Keep a Clean Sheet against Dublin?

(Oldest Posts First)

Mayo have played Dublin 4 times in the last 2 years conceding 8 goals (average 2 per match conceded).

Mayos chances (to a large degree) depend on changing this statistic

Of course they can ..........

If they do, itll go a long, long way toward bringing Sam out west.

Having said that, I don't think they will, And I think Sam will be staying in Dublin.

I think it's the other way round. Dublin have shown that they are more than happy to work the scoreboard and keep the points going over. Last year's semi-final was a case in point. I think Mayo will need to score goals. They get a tremendous lift psychologically when they do. I'm thinking of strikes by Andy Moran and Aidan OSe and how they rallied the team. Dublin can concede goals and yet go on and win the game. If Moran is marked out of it I think

I think Mayo scoring a couple of own goals last year didn't help matters, in fairness seeing that made me start wondering about the curse and other mythical stuff like the wee folk etc. Maybe they do exist.

Yes but they prob won't .. Nor will Dublin. Easiest bet ever is both teams to score a goal. It will be to fast paced and I presume man to man so both teams to get at least one goal. I'd expect more even 2 each or 3-1 3-2
