Hey royaldunne how're things? Hope everything is ok with you and your family. Just came across the thread where you mentioned that your son was sick.

Sligo winning an Ulster title? That's a bold prediction almost as bold as the OP.

This is the stuff that matters. All the BS around sport is incidental. Best of luck to you and your family. StirringIt (Cavan) - Posts: 374 - 06/09/2017 15:34:44 2043483 Link 1 |
It is possible for them to win Ulster, but they would want a substantial shake up GaryMc82 (Derry) - Posts: 3017 - 06/09/2017 18:02:55 2043542 Link 0 |
You are so right. Thanks for the good wishes

Cavan to win Ulster,Sligo to win Connaught, Limerick to win Munster and Carlow to win Leinster. cityman73 (Limerick) - Posts: 775 - 06/09/2017 19:24:41 2043583 Link 1 |
Defensively Cavan are very strong, they are also very strong in midfield too. But their real issue is up front, they simply lack enough firepower to outgun the likes of Tyrone etc. If they could unearth a couple of top notch corner forwards, then maybe they could do something. Lets see how they draw goes in another month or so for next years Ulster Championship. A kind draw could change everything for them. Gary 82 thought you were a bit more clever.Cavan to win Ulster next year does the fairies exist better chance of that. neutral (None) - Posts: 358 - 12/09/2017 17:34:02 2045315 Link 0 |
In fairness, if any team gets their act together next year they could give ulster a good crack. The province has definitely levelled off. I think the Tyrone myth is busted. himachechy (Donegal) - Posts: 293 - 14/09/2017 17:36:49 2046049 Link 0 |
Probably only get three of them right - London could nick the one in the west

It sure does Wally. I'm not slagging and may well be way off the mark. Tyrone far and away ahead in Ulster this year and worthy champions. In the Summer I thought we were looking at a big period of dominance for Tyrone, but that Dublin defeat and Mikey getting 3 more years has changed my view a bit. Only my opinion.. ye'll probably get 3 in a row!
