Haha yeah. Reporter: Colm your thoughts on your performance today? Another MOTM for you. You must be thrilled. CB: Colm Boyle is just a human the way a great white shark is just a fish.... Lockjaw (Donegal) - Posts: 9116 - 05/09/2017 10:36:41 2042892 Link 0 |
I'm sure everyone know what I'm referring to, if I was to go into any more specifics I doubt it would get through the moderators. You've got a great football team, and most of them come across as gentlemen on and off the park, but don't be making out that they're all great guys.

I didn't exactly mean wit but they were just examples of talking of the top their head after winning. Amusing all the same. Something to talk about.

Up and down the length and breath of the country amateur inter county and club players are made sign contracts to consign to a certain set of rules and a complete ban on drinking alcohol and they dare not deviate from it ... leitrim4sam (Leitrim) - Posts: 644 - 05/09/2017 11:43:01 2042925 Link 0 |
Johnny Glynn?? He's a good man with a microphone after a big game. Also one of the Galway players (not sure who - seen it on-line this morning) sang the West's awake in Pearse Stadium last night. A good rendition too though slightly hoarse from 8 months hard training!! imonmyway (Mayo) - Posts: 113 - 05/09/2017 16:16:58 2043047 Link 0 |

Why single out Dublin? Seemingly a rule on here that Dublin must get specific emphasis when general negative points are made on HS :) Dub players are fairly relaxed when talking. Kevin Mc has plenty of humour about him. In any case, if a Dub player dared make an off the cuff or sarcastic comment, this place would implore. Folk have words like 'arrogant' and 'cocky' ready to paste in if a Dub player gets anyway carried away in a post-match interview. poguemahone (Dublin) - Posts: 365 - 06/09/2017 14:19:10 2043439 Link 1 |
