Mayo really should have 12-14 Allstars this year. Most teams have played 4-6 matches Mayo will have played 10 Most mayo players have played very well in 6 matches No other players have played well in more than 4 matches Very simple maths really tirawleybaron (Mayo) - Posts: 1105 - 30/08/2017 06:57:22 2040552 Link 0 |
You could apply that stay in many other ways in that many of the Mayo players have had at least 2 poor games this year whereas the Dublin players have been consistently good and had no bad games

McCarthy is player of the year so far. And people have Parsons in the team ahead of him! I've lost faith in humanity! tiobraid (Tipperary) - Posts: 4119 - 30/08/2017 12:42:41 2040697 Link 0 |
Thats a fair logic :)

1 Clarke\Cluxton if neither outperforms the other then cluxton. royalcounty1 (Meath) - Posts: 15 - 30/08/2017 14:36:27 2040758 Link 0 |
In my opinion you start this team with McCarthy & Parsons and fill everyone in around them How some can say Cavanagh beats me he played as a defender The 2 mentioned have proven themselves time and time again Mayo in particular have been a shambles when Parsons hasn't played McCarthy no need to say anything about him Been a rock for Dublin cluichethar (Mayo) - Posts: 454 - 30/08/2017 17:56:05 2040840 Link 0 |

Both McCarthy and Parsons should be selected, Mayo have nine championship games played this year, I expect they will do well in regard to All-Star selection this year. fainleog (Limerick) - Posts: 598 - 30/08/2017 20:07:49 2040868 Link 0 |
Ah come on Mayo were extremely poor until they beat us in the replay. Have of mayo were calling for Rochfords head

Agree with that team, on reflection only change i would have is Colm Cavanagh instead of Parsons. Obvsiously final could change things, There is always one unsung bolter who nabs an allstar out of nowhere based on a good final

Mayo will get more than four All-Stars this year as they won and drew matches as a result of many outstanding individual performances, They will have played ten championship matches this year which is a wonderful opportunity to show case their outstanding players. fainleog (Limerick) - Posts: 598 - 31/08/2017 12:49:35 2041118 Link 0 |

I won't be surprised if the All Stars largely mirror the Sunday Gane team if last night, 7 Dubs 7 Mayo and 1 Kerry give a fair assesment of where football is at right now Richieq (Meath) - Posts: 3734 - 18/09/2017 11:23:29 2047345 Link 0 |
Would agree with the majority of Sunday Game selection but would think Dean Rock, Colm Kavanagh , Kieran Donaghy and Ciaran Kilkenny are in with a good shout. Adamski (Dublin) - Posts: 339 - 18/09/2017 11:49:13 2047372 Link 0 |
