I hope Mayo do it- but I have my doubts that they can get that vital goal. galwayford (Galway) - Posts: 2513 - 17/09/2017 16:28:12 2046711 Link 0 |

McQuillan has been good apart from the ridiculous free to Dublin at the end. Killarney.87 (Tipperary) - Posts: 2513 - 17/09/2017 16:28:49 2046713 Link 1 |
This is Mayo's now to win, Dubs are a bit clueless, playing a blanket defence too!! there won't be a word about it either. Tirchonaill1 (Donegal) - Posts: 2705 - 17/09/2017 16:31:20 2046714 Link 0 |
OGara should be gone.......twice Mc quillion has given really poor frees against Mayo, the last one before half time was a total joke. PaudieSull1 (Down) - Posts: 738 - 17/09/2017 16:31:25 2046715 Link 0 |
Correct. Ref is critical in a game as tight as this. And their goal - did anyone count the steps - seemed to me he over-carried at least once

I thought he over carried too, would be interesting to have a closer look. Mayo retreating too much now allowing Dublin to start dictating.

Dare I say Dublin are choking a wee bit under the relentless pressure to win? They're being kept in it by the goal and went nearly 15 minutes with only two scores. festinog (Galway) - Posts: 3097 - 17/09/2017 16:41:13 2046723 Link 0 |

Could easily have been a penalty there for the foul on Keegan.....Joe giving all the big calls to Dublin as usual PaudieSull1 (Down) - Posts: 738 - 17/09/2017 17:00:35 2046726 Link 0 |

Gutted for Mayo, starting to think they'll never win it. M Lyster (Antrim) - Posts: 461 - 17/09/2017 17:15:38 2046728 Link 0 |

Injustice, Mayo denied a clear penalty with a few mins to go. Well done McQuillan. Ulsterman (Antrim) - Posts: 9688 - 17/09/2017 17:16:21 2046730 Link 0 |
And football has died. Professionals beat ametures. Well done Joe mac. KingdomBoy1 (Kerry) - Posts: 14092 - 17/09/2017 17:16:39 2046731 Link 0 |
Win by a point that the ref gave them. Mayo have shown Dublin are very beatable. Tyrone can hang their heads for not at least giving Dublin a game. essmac (Tyrone) - Posts: 1141 - 17/09/2017 17:16:58 2046732 Link 0 |
9 minutes added disgraceful, we played officials and 31 countirs full of bleeding hearts well bleed away. Looking forward to four now
