Best of luck to both teams and all the fans tomorrow. I think the Kerry games will stand to Mayo and they have a right chance but Dublin are an outstanding team that will take some beating. Many seem to have crowned Dublin already but it may not be that straightforward. Hoping for a good open game whatever happens.

Mayo are the only team that can possibly come close to challenging Dublin and I wouldn't write them off at all. However the Jacks cold, clinical treatment of Tyrone doesn't fill me with great hope for the men from the West. However hope springs eternal and I hope Mayo win.

Best of luck to both teams today. It's days like this that make football supporters worth all the pain.
I like all neutrals would like to see mayo win. However I have huge admiration for Dublin and I would not begrudge them the 3 in a row one bit. To fans of both teams on here, have a fantastic day , we may have argued over lots during league and championship but I'll be honest it's 16 years since I had a day like this , so savour every minute of it. Good luck

Hope I'm wrong but I have a feeling that Dublin could win this by 10+. Would love to see mayo win. I'm a firm believer in that you get what you deserve in sport so whoever wins today will have earned it. Best of luck to both teams

10+ ?
Well Monica, I hope you are right but I cannot see a 10 point gap between these 2 teams.

Have a feeling that this will go down to the wire!

Dubs seem to have a habit of wasting an awful lot of chances against this Mayo side and they need a clinical performance.

If they are wasteful this Mayo side are more than good enough to beat Dublin, no doubt about it...

Best of luck to both teams and hats off to either side if they win. Both teams are playing for history, and there's no doubting the huge commitment and drive of both panels.

Although if Mayo can finally get over the line it'll be a good day in Irish sport. We can all finally move on and stop talking about it every year!!

If the Dubs win well a break from this place will be in order after offering my condolences

The bitterness and usual guff will be plastered across here, there was no talk of finances or splitting when teams have deservedly beaten Dublin.. all that talk is conveniently redundant all of a sudden

So really the only team that can actually win today is Mayo haha.. ;)

All the best to both teams. Looks like it's meant to be dry for the game. Happy days!

The Dubs will attempt to assert their well drilled and structured game on Mayo, just as they did to Tyrone. Controlling possession is the foundation of this. I missed the Tyrone semifinal, but was surprised when reviewing it on the player how wasteful Tyrone were in the third quarter. If they had taken the 5 or 6 decent chances they spurned the game would have been within a score going into the final quarter. This became lost in the avalanche of superlatives flowing Dublin's way from the media after. The Dubs are a great team, but it's still going to come down to chances and who takes them. This is where Mayo have shown huge improvement this year and the confidence this has injected is a key difference over last year. I fancy our lads to disrupt the Dublin structure. If they can force Dublin's bench, particularly make Dublin have to replace a couple of defenders, then this will dilute the potential ole effect later and turn things tense and uncomfortable. In these circumstances we'll prevail by 3 or 4 points, but if we do any sort of buy in to the narrative, like Tyrone did, it'll be back to the bottom of the mountain. This is it and, while I know they can do it, I also believe they will deliver the type of performance needed and see this one out. Maigheo abu and safe travelling to all supporters.

Possible but the Tyrone game didn't go that way. They were beaten off the park. Chances they had were rushed and attempted under pressure. If they have scored them, they'd have still lost, it was clear early on that Dublin were very tuned in and in control.

However different game today. Glad to see the rain give away, should allow for a cracker. Dubs to edge it for me.

They missed a few easy ones too, but agree Dubs were likely to react if needed so not in danger of losing.

The wind won't be factor, that's for sure, but with no heat the pitch won't dry out fully, so might be difficult underfoot. Should still be a good attacking game. Like a lot I'm expecting Gavin to make a late change or two. Rochford also has form for doing the same.

Mayo, just to put an end to Tomas O' Se's comments about Mayo. They gave his overrated Kerry a lesson in football in the semifinal replay.

Funny a lot of people are saying the same thing that Dublin are going to thrash Mayo but I just can't see it. Recent games between the teams have been very close. Its going to be a very different game for Dublin than it was against Tyrone. Mayo will be in their faces from the outset and will drive hard at the Dublin defence. Now you would still expect Dublin to win but it will be no more than a couple of points.

Best of luck to both teams today, can't wait for this one, hopefully it's a cracker. Whether you like them or not you have to admire Dublin and Mayo, Dublin are surely one of the greatest teams ever to line out in Croker and Mayo just keep coming back year after year despite all the heartache, astonishing resilience.

Enjoy the day out lads/lassies and don't be afraid to lash the b0ll0x out of it, but be safe.
