Gaago

(Oldest Posts First)

Hi all just wondering if anyone could help me out currently in the UK and have a gaago account but after checking I don't seem to be able to watch semi final today can anyone tell me if there is anyway around this or is it to do with sky sports having the rights to games over here that they can't be played on gaago.

Is it giving you an error or anything when you see you cannot watch it? Anything that could be resolved before throw-in?

Try downloading Mobdro if you've an android device and search for RTE there. Will be a patchy enough reception. Or instal Hola for Chrome, add Chrome in Hola app switch country in Hola to Ireland and try rte.ie/player in Chrome. It might work.

Cheers for the responses all much appreciated. Seem that they don't stream the semi finals or finals on it in the island of Britain. Personally think that's a poor decision considering it's available all year around and is a good service surely the biggest games of the year should be available. Thanks for the replies will try all hopefully they'll work.

Can't really help other than I know that gaago is different for the uk than it is for the rest of the world. There's more restrictions with some games. I can't remember if it's the rte games or the sky that are restricted. I've used it all over Europe this summer and it was always fine. But that's a semi final I think it's been shown on all channels if I'm not wrong ?

Download a decent IPtv player app for and android device and then go to done deal. One lad there is selling an IPTV package for 8 euro per month. Has all of the sky channels including rte in near HD.

Yeah, the UK version of GAA GO doesn't show you any games that Sky cover. Therefore that covers the sky games during the year and the semis and finals in hurling and football.

This is why the UK season ticket is a good bit cheaper than the "Rest of the World" season ticket - that gives you all the games.

It's really not ideal at all, thankfully I have Sky but otherwise I would have bought the season ticket and still missed a lot of my own county's games

Monaghan v Carlow
Monaghan v Down
Monaghan v Dublin (should have been 18+ warning on this one hahaha)
Were all on Sky and I wouldn't have been able to get them on GAAgo.

Only Monaghan games I got on GAAgo were Monaghan v Fermanagh, Monaghan v Cavan and Monaghan v Down

Monaghan v Wexford wasnt televised So I got half of my counties games via season ticket and needed a sky subscription to get the other half
