Connolly is back..!

(Oldest Posts First)

With his suspension due to expire before the Dublin v Tyrone semi final, Jim Gavin has a big decision to make. Does he start Connolly or keep him in reserve.??
A lot will depend on how he is going in training but his return will add a lot of comment prior to this much anticipated game.
I, for one, am delighted he will get to play again this season. It would have been terrible for his season to be over for what happened in the Carlow game.

Looking forward to seeing him back in Croke Park.
Connolly is back...!

team that started against Monaghan will probably start against Tyrone. Diarmuid, Bernard, MDMcA, Paul Flynn all on the bench.

He will come of the bench to the biggest cheer in Croke park for beards and the game will be in the melting pot, he will kick a free from 50 yards out to get Dublin over the line, the narrative is already written.

Of all the games to become back for Tyrone, in many ways he exactly what we need for this game, his best performance for Dublin in my opinion was against Tyrone in the 2011 quarter final in the pourings of rain.

Don't fancy him as a bench player. Coming into a red hot game, I can see him taking a couple of hits and reacting. I'd start him as we're going to need some long range accuracy. Tyrone will pack the middle from halfway to their goal line. Con, Kilkenny, Dermo for me in the HFs.

Some luxury to be able bench them
Players...all three would start on
Every other county team

We don't care to be honest. But never thought Diarmuid should have been suspended anyway so welcome back to him. He's s great player but I feel we have a great chance in this game, both teams have great squads in my view and both will run the benches and it will be a good battle I think until the end.
