was there a reason in particular the rossies were giving andy moran the height of abuse in today's game??
only thing i saw him do today was maybe overcarry for one of his scores in the first half??surely thats no reason to give a player abuse for the remainder of a game?

Maybe being a Roscommon man had something to do with it?

Because his club is on border to Roscommon isn't it - he could play for Roscommon also.

Think he plays club football with Ballagh in Mayo but it's actually in Roscommon , I could be wrong I'm sure Roscommon fans know a lot more than me

Very poor alright .

Sadly there is booing in every match but today was very noticeable .

I know he's from the border but it was cross channel stuff .

No room for it, in the game. The reason, I believe is he plays for the famous club situated in County Roscommon, but are part of Mayo GAA.

To be fair though most of the booing I heard on TV was from Mayo fans every time Rossies had a free so tit for tat!

Watching on TV I thought it was Mayo fans booing the decision . How could he be coming off before the anonymous D O Connor?

This sounded more like a slagging kind of booing rather than hateful booing.

Seemed harmless enough to me and a bit of sport considering where he is from.

To quote the duke of Wellington: 'if I was born in a stable would that make me a horse?'

Ah dry your eyes. No booing is acceptable at a gaa match. Stop trying to justify Mayo fans booing. It's quite common with Mayo fans too.
Fermanagh, Kildare and Westmeath games last year booing was quite evident. Again today.

Roscommon fans booing Moran is also a disgrace.

Booing is unfortunately part of the game, everyone is at it.

Booing has crept into GAA these days, usually tho just when opposing team are taking a free or booing the ref but the jeering Andy got today was awful and embarrassing for the Roscommon people that did it..it was booing when he had the ball and if he lost it or kicked a wide and id say they cheered louder than when Roscommon scored..People are saying its cause of his club being in Roscommon but thats nothing new, you would think be over it so must be jealousy or something..and they werent booing his fellow club mate David Drake when he came on..
