WELL, if you believe in coincidences that it is....

2014 v 2017 .......

- Dublin played Monaghan in the quarter final (Could happen again)

- The semi final pairings were Leinster/Ulster and Connaught v Munster (same as this year)

- Kerry and Galway met in a quarter final in Croke park (same as this year)

- Kerry beat Clare in a close munster semi final (4 points - 2014, 6 points in 2017), cork beat tipp (2 points in 14, 1 point in 17) in the other semi final, and Kerry went on to record facile victories over cork in the final (12 points - 2014, 11 points 2017

- Ultimately, Mayo knocked Cork out of the championship, Mayo won by a point (2014 2-15 v 1-19.... 2017 0-27 v 2-20

- Mayo played a championship game in Limerick (same this year)

- The ref was escorted off the pitch by gardai and stewards at the gaelic grounds (same this year)

- Galway scored 4-17 in their 4A qualifier game in both years (v Tipp in 14, v Donegal yesterday)

Winning 3 in a row is over-rated anyways...

The stars have aligned perfectly.

We are merely making the numbers up in Dublin, Tyrone, Mayo etc from now until the 17th of September.

Very hard to see beyond them to be honest.

They have won every senior title they have entered this year and look very hungry. JOD and Geaney appear at the top of their powers. Dublin in transition and all things must end. The lads on here are rightly bullish about their prospects.

I think only Tyrone might catch on the hop in a final.

On the bright side, might get a good last minute deal on a holiday in mid September.

If anything they're the opposite of Gavin and his smug condescending tones.

A poor attempt all the same.

This is as bad as the nonsense coming out of Mayo last year with 2016 being our year, last won Sam in 1951, 1+9+5+1=16, so last year was our year, that's as silly as if your aunt had liathroidi she'd be your uncle, the crows are nesting high in the trees that means we're getting a wet summer, midges are very bad this year that means a sunny dry summer, it's all a load of coc bo

We in Kerry are very humble and even if we had been beating teams into Oblivion every time like a certain Blue Juggernaut we'd never be arrogant or big headed about it, it's just not in our DNA

You do know you don't have to click on the thread and comment? Can't be that "boring" if you've spent time to comment....unless you're bored? Ha ha.

Yet ironically you're actually being "arrogant and big headed" yourself there with your boasting holier than though attitude.....Pull the other one, pal.
