Who did we beat? Fermanagh a, cavan and wexford and beaten by Down . We struggled via cavan and fermanagh.

Monaghan at 5! Even though we were beaten in the last 16 ie provincial quarter finals. That is some logic u apply to get 5."
Logic?u talk some sh-te,i take it your list is based on this years championship so far, kerry hav played 2 games, your number 1 got it very tight for a large part of the game against clare, and bate a poor cork team,so if your talkin logic, where is the logic in them been your number 1

Hilariously changing my username to Forpukesake probably explains the level of intellect that has lead to your ridiculous argument

This is a stupid thread I would place us between 5 and 16 and all of them could beat each other on a certain day
Dubs and Kerry are top by miles
Tyrone a improving 3rd
Mayo a team that will need major freshening a falling back 4th

I threw my rankings out there for a bit of fun but agree with everything you say here.

Dublin and Kerry are miles ahead of everyone else this year, if I was betting on the All Ireland without these 2 it would be close between Tyrone and Mayo, the rest of us are just making up the numbers, hopefully that order will change within a few years when this current Donegal squad mature.

Patsy100, i think my list stands up. My poor rating for monaghan stands up. Think about it beaten by down this year and last year by longford. We last appeared in am all ireland semi final in 85. We got to got to one final in 1930.

Kerry are always there or there abouts. So no surprise they are highly rated.

Monaghan are a poor team when they are favourites. Wexford and carlow are exceptions.

My question is how do we over come our flaws as favourites.

It is 10 years since sligo were connacht charpoons! ! Roscommon have been building a team for years while the has been bad days we have been making progress for a while now. I think seventh is about right for them this year. I would think that mayo are a more proven team then tryone

My point is a shock can happen but you can't suddenly say a team are suddenly in the top 5 or 6. I wouldn't say where Roscommon are yet. One swallow and all that. Roscommon have been beating the underage drum for years and years and expecting a breakthrough. We'll see where they are the next day out. Maybe they are on the verge of joining the top 5 or 6, but one result doesn't say that.

With the numerous rumours you tried spread this year and if we had FOD asmanagerlikeypu always wanted we would probably be number1

Seven is a bit high yet . Top ten definitely. A quarter final win would push ye up the ladder .

Roscommon were in 8th place in the place in the league and moving them up one place based on the championship is not to out of place. I wouldn't have them up in 5 or 6th place yet.

I stated facts. While you would have to give mc stay credit for the win. With a different management we would have a stronger team hitting to croker for a quarter final which as a lifelong roscommon supporter that is disappointing but I will be shouting the lads on.
