Replying To Htaem:  "Could be OLLIE and I wouldn't begrudge our Wee neighbours either, I think Louth have every chance of making another Leinster final this year. Kildare and Meath both operated at a higher level this year but Louth are well capable of beating both (you've already put us to the sword this year, in Navan aswell)."
Our record is not great in the Leinster Championship in recent years. One Leinster final appearance in the last fifty years and one Leinster semi-final appearance in the last nineteen years tell's its own story.

Dark horses this year are Limerick, I fully expect us to at least reach an all Ireland semi final

Not a great recent record OLLIE but the past shouldn't matter on the day and Louth have had a good year so far, I'm sure promotion was a huge boost. Also being on the opposite side of the draw to Dublin is a golden opportunity for any half decent Leinster team to make the final, if a meet again (and I expect us to), I think it will be a much better game than last year's, because both teams have improved.

Replying To waynoI:  "No dark horses.

Infact all the horses will be multi-colored glowing horses ..

They will be so feckin bright Stevie Wonder would see them.

Dublin, Kerry, Mayo, Donegal, Tyrone.......

That's all."
Two of those have zero chance of winning an All Ireland this year.

The dark horses for me are Galway. They could get their hands on the Sam McGuire if they really tried and played to there full ability, they should play attacking football. I expect them to reach the semis. The amount of talent they have is unbelievable. They probably have the best forward selection in the country at the moment.
My second team would be Monaghan they have the best style of football in my opinion and they could win the all Ireland if they tried. They have some amazing players.
Cavan,Meath and Kildare could shock us as well.

Not a hope in hell.
If you were in Croker on league final day you would have seen the massive gap there is between the likes of Galway and the contenders.

Galway beat Mayo last year.. Were they a contender last year?

Monaghan. McCarron and McManus look potent. Great full back line. Slightly easier side of the draw in Ulster. If the can get over their fear in Croke Park they could go far.

Tyrone and Galway - dark horses

Dublin, Kerry, Mayo - most likely to win it

No.If you are honest you will accept Galway beat Mayo when they were at a low ebb, Mayo simply didn't play anything close to their best when they played Galway.Put it this way do you honestly think Galway would have taken Dublin to a replay and then only lost by a point last year?

I think his point was that yes there is a gap to the top 3 but on a given day they can be beaten by teams at a level below. Something like that happening could then blow a side of the draw wide open.

That is not a bad call at all.
They were decent in the league along with thier fellow ulster-men monaghan.
Donegal surprised me full of youthful exuberance and skill.

The team I will be watching the closest as a Neutral is Tipp, they are getting more experience and fear no one.

Galway will probably improve this year, but they have not got enough experience yet.

Tipp for me if that counts as surprise?

I fancy a Tyrone v Mayo final. Might not qualify as a dark horse but it would be something different.

I don't think Tyrone will make final. Maybe last 8 but Tyrone are nowhere near the level they need to be at to get to a final.

Not an outrageous opinion. Mayo are there or there abouts most seasons and Tyrone aren't a million miles away.
