Rochford switches focus to replay

Mayo boss Stephen Rochford during the drawn All-Ireland SFC semi-final at Croke Park

Mayo manager Stephen Rochford was, understandably, disappointed with the concession of two 'sloppy' goals in today's All-Ireland SFC semi-final stalemate with Kerry.

The Kingdom punished Mayo mistakes with Stephen O'Brien and Johnny Buckley raising green flags in either half and Rochford expressed the hope that his players can learn from the experience ahead of next Saturday's replay.

We gave away two sloppy goals which was disappointing but we'll look to learn from that over the next 24 hours and prepare for six days time, he told RTE's The Sunday Game.

Goals are big scores in these games, we got the first one but coughed them up at critical times when we were playing well, really on the front foot.

But, look, it's all about next Saturday.

The decision to deploy Aidan O'Shea in defence in a bidto counteract Kieran Donaghy's aerial threat was also placed under the microscope...

I thought he was quite effective but we didn't win the game so we'll look at all the different parts of it.

We'll look to see if there is something we can do for next week and what we can learn from the last 70 minutes.
