An attendance of between 55 and 60,000 is expected at tomorrow's Leinster SFC final between Dublin and Kildare.

If the figure is less than the record 60,032 which watched the Leinster SHC final between Galway and Wexford a fortnight ago, it will be the first time in 20 years that the attendance at the hurling decider has beaten the football turnout.

Nearly 70,000 watched the 2012 Leinster SFC final between Dublin and Meath, but crowds have been on the wane since then due to Dublin's dominance in the eastern province.
