The third round of the Offaly senior football championship has been cancelled.

The next round was due to take place on the weekend of May 6th/7th, but has been put back after a request from the county senior football management team.

The Offaly CCC have decided to comply with the management team's request as they want to be able to fully focus on the Leinster SFC clash against Westmeath on June 11th.

Also deferred is the senior B football championship, but the intermediate and junior campaigns will go ahead as planned.

A full round of league fixtures have been scheduled for the weekend of May 6th instead.
