Cork's Stephen Cronin will be sidelined for at least six months after fraturing both his tibia and fibula.

The 19-year-old Nemo Rangers clubman, who made his senior intercounty championship debut against Clare in June and retained his place in the half-back line throughout the summer. sustained the injury in a senior league match against Clonakilty over the weekend.

He will play no more football until next Spring at the earliest, which means he'll sit our Nemo's SFC meeting with Douglas this weekend as well as the county U21 final.
