As it happened: Saturday Match Tracker

Monaghan v Carlow is the big Saturday evening clash

The All-Ireland Senior football championship qualifiers continued today as round 3B concludes.

We had two games down for decision as Netwatch Cullen Park and Semple Stadium host the games.

First up at 5pm was the meeting of Tipperary and Armagh. These sides are familiar with each other having been in the same division. When they met in the league, Tipp came out on top by a point, so expect a close contest in this one.

Then at 7pm, we had a novel fixture as Division Four side Carlow continue their remarkable journey in the qualifiers, hosting Division One side Monaghan.

The Barrowsiders were huge underdogs in this one, but they have grown in confidence with each game and with a large crowd sure to come out and support them, we can look forward to a brilliant atmosphere in the grounds.
