Fermanagh and Lancashire have made winning starts to their Lory Meagher Cup campaigns.

At Kingspan Breffni this evening, Fermanagh came from behind to beat neighbours Cavan by 0-19 to 1-11. The hosts led by 0-10 to 0-7 at half-time and looked set for victory when John Sheanon's 47th minute penalty extended their advantage to 1-11 to 0-9.

But they wouldn't score again as 10 unanswered points, including efforts from Francis McBrien, John Duffy, Caolan Duffy and Barry McPhillips, helped the Erne County to the win.

In Old Bedians in Manchester, Ronan Crowley fired Lancashire to a 0-20 to 1-15 victory over Leitrim after the Exiles had led by 0-12 to 1-6 at the break.
