Fermanagh defender Aidan Breen has voiced his concerns over the new rules.

Breen was part of the Fermanagh side that drew with UUJ in the McKenna Cup last weekend and the general consensus from the game was that the new rules were not a success.

The experienced Fermanagh player feels that the introduction of so many rules is not fair on either the players or match officials.

“Most other counties and we’d be the same, would be totally against them. It didn’t improve the game we played,” Breen states in the Fermanagh Herald.

“A whole raft of them coming in wasn’t a good idea. It seemed to be every time you turned around there was a new rule. The forward mark maybe has some merit though and it would definitely be the one that appealed to me the most out of them all.”
