This is great to see.
DUP leader Arlene Foster this evening met with members of the Fermanagh football team to wish them good luck in tomorrow week's Ulster SFC final against Donegal.
The North's First Minister met the Ernemen after a training session at the Lough Erne Resort Hotel and brought with her a good luck card which read "from a proud Fermanagh woman to her neighbours".
Foster was presented with a Fermanagh jersey by team manager Rory Gallagher, county board secretary Tom Boyle and county board vice-chairman and local Sinn Fein party member Phil Flanagan.
The Fermanagh MLA didn't reveal if she would be attending the final, only saying "we will wait and see".
Edwin Poots became the first minister from the DUP to attend a GAA game in 2008, followed by Peter Robinson in 2012. Both attended McKenna Cup games and on both occasions they took their seats after Amhrán na bhFiann was played.
TweetAn important step in reconciliation by @DUPleader in meeting the @FermanaghGAA team ahead of the @UlsterGAA Final to wish the players & management every success. Delighted to present her with a jersey to mark the occasion. GAA fully committed to reconciliation & a shared future. pic.twitter.com/DDiQI9WxC1
