I think what sets him apart from nearly all other players is how ridiculously easy he makes the game look. How many of his goals have come from driving inside from the right and slotting the ball home with his left peg? You can imagine opposition managers and defenders knowing what he's going to do, and yet they are powerless to prevent the almost inevitable outcome.

At 24 I believe his crowning glory will be if/when he wins a World Cup. I'd suggest that if he wins it in 2014 in Brazil that he may as well take up golf or snooker. Cos he'll have mastered this football craic...

Some interesting stuff on that documentary, the version of events is a little suspect at times though, which is a shame because it is actually quite a good story on its own, there was no need to try to make it into a bit of a fairytale, I dont know why the guys doing these documentaries always do that.
