The Niall Scully Question

(Oldest Posts First)

Very impressed with Scully so far but the big question is can he get into the starting 6 up front or get game time from the bench come champo , I know it's early days but he looks the real deal.

I think them 3 are the only guaranteed starters with Jim come the summer so he has a big chance , thoughts?

So far if he's doing the business in training

He has every chance of being selected

But being selected to start is only part of the process

He's also capable of turning a game from the bench with pace and his footballing composure

Can kick off both feet, great balance.. all of that is game changing

Watching him on the ball you'd swear he was in his late 20's and played 35+ championship games for Dublin

Possibly not for championship this year , id think Gavin would still have paddy Flynn brogan mannion Bernard and kevi mac in front of him we still have cormac and Con also , Deano definetly starts , we EOG , having said hat he's seriously laying down a marker , impact sun maybe , next year perhaps pushing for a starting place

May well depend on Paul Flynn.
if his form and fitness return to the level we know then scully would likely be looking at coming in off the bench in last 20 minutes when Flynn tires.
Anybody know what keeping Bernard brogan and paddy Andrews out?
Hopefully we see dermo Connolly this weekend it would be a great boost after the lack of attacking flare we saw in ballybofey

And Costello, surely he is in our plans, he practically won us an AI last year. I feel we should have persisted with him during the league, maybe he's injured?

Came on in Cavan near the end alright.
by the look of it none of Connolly, brogan, mannion,Costello,Andrews, mccarthy or Cooper even travelled to ballybofey
