Ciarán Reidy – A Club Legend: The club lost Ciarán to illness on 7th March. He joined the club in 1972 as a juvenile player and progressed to the senior team, until illness in 1982 stop his involvement. When his playing career finished, Ciarán played the lead role in creating a redevelopment plan of the clubs poor facilities. Over the next 30 years Ciarán played a key role in the building of the current clubhouse, all weather pitch and training facilities.  He also helped manage his son Brian team from under 8 to minor. The current club grounds are a monument to a very determined, highly skilled and hugely generous member Ciarán Reidy.

Webinar Training Sessions: Coaches you can keep learning and developing your skills while at home as the GAA, An Cumann Camogaíochta and the LGFA will be a series of coach development webinar sessions taking place over the next few weeks. The sessions will run every Tuesday and Thursday at 7:30pm, beginning this Thursday, March 26th. All sessions will be advertised through the GAA Learning site – learning.gaa.ie and across all of the social media channels. To access the sessions, any participants can simply click on the link directly from the GAA Learning Site page. For more information, email: [email protected]

2020 National Club Draw: The draw took place in Croke Park on 12th March. A total of €1,568,200 was raised nationally. The results are now on www.gaa.ie

Adult Football & Hurling: The Dublin Adult Competitions Control Committee have postponed all grades of club championship games fixed for April due to the uncertainty surrounding the resumption of activity. If the current pandemic continues beyond April it is proposed to engage with the Leinster Council and the National Competitions Control Committee with a view to restructuring our games programme for 2020. This may include the redesign of the current formats. If so, we will engage with the clubs prior to any decision being made. Adult leagues will resume when sanction is approved by the Statutory Bodies.
