Manager Anthony Rainbow was delighted with Ballyboden St Enda's attacking play after they saw off underdogs Thomas Davis at Parnell Park to land a fourth Dublin SFC title.

Brothers Colm and Ryan Basquel along with Ross McGarry scored 0-13 between them as 'Boden ran out 0-15 to 0-9 winners.

“Ross McGarry was incredible," former Kildare star Rainbow enthused in the Irish Sun.

“If you look at our forward line, people look at the likes of Collie Basquel and Ryan Basquel. A lot of people seem to just hone in on those two, but we’ve got Warren Egan, Ross, Alan Flood who came on and scored, Sean Gibbons, Darren O’Reilly.

“They’re all scoring threats and when we don’t have the ball their work-rate is very, very high. That all went into the mix.”
