Access to this area is Strictly Forbidden. Stray footballs/sliotars will be collected by the Contractor and returned to the Grounds Chairman.

Oct.13 – In spite of some great forward play by Gerard McDermottroe and Tommy McDaniel, a disappointing one-point defeat for Castleknock’s Senior Footballers, 1-17 3-12, in the SFC Quarter-Final against a well organised and highly motivated Thomas Davis side.

Congrats to Castleknock Camogs on winning the Intermediate Championship Final beating Erin’s Isle 4-12 1-2. Cara Feeney scores 2-0 and Louise Mahony 1-1. This historic victory sees Castleknock join Senior ranks for the first time and means the team now go forward to represent Dublin Camogie in the Leinster Intermediate Championship against Kildare Champions Johnstownbridge next Saturday Oct.19.

A real battling victory for Castleknock’s Footballers in beating Templeogue/Synge Street 4-8 0-11 in the Junior 1 Football Championship Quarter-Final in difficult conditions in Dolphin Park. Lennon Bracken top-scores with 1-5.

Massive disappointment for our Minor ‘A’ Hurlers losing the Championship Semi-Final to Ballyboden 2-13 4-10. The defeat is all the more difficult to take because eight minutes into the second-half Castleknock led by nine points 2-10 1-4.

The other two Minor Hurling Championship matches, the ‘C’ Quarter-Final and the ‘D’ Final were postponed due to the pitches being unplayable.

Congrats to the U-14 Ladies Football teams on winning their two Championship Semi-Finals.

Upcoming – Castleknock’s JHC ‘C’ Final against St. Jude’s has been refixed for O’Toole Park at 2pm next Saturday, Oct.19. On Sunday morning Oct.20 there are two Minor Championship Quarter-Finals in Somerton at 11am. The Minor ‘A’ Footballers play Lucan and the Minor ‘E’ footballers meet St. Vincent’s. All support welcome.
