Kerry's David Clifford scores a penalty

Tomás Ó Sé can’t see Kerry challenging for the Sam Maguire Cup this summer.

As Dublin bid to win a fifth successive All-Ireland SFC, a youthful Kingdom side have been touted by many as potential challengers to their throne but five-times winner Ó Sé reckons his native county still have a long way to go before the can bridge the gap to 2014:

“I think there will be pressure. I think there's always pressure, whether it's Peter Keane or Eamonn Fitzmaurice. Even last year, I said he deserves time to bed in and give players a chance,” he told Sky Sports.

“Kerry are being bandied about as the team to take Dublin off their perch - if any team will - and I'm saying where is that coming from? Because they didn't even get the chance to go against them last year. I'm not going to be talking about Kerry having a chance of winning the All-Ireland. I think they have a lot to work on.”
