The date for the 133rd AGM has been pushed back to Sunday 10th February 2019 @ 11:00am. Any nominations for Officer Board and Executive Committee together with motions should be lodged with the Club Secretary no later than 20th January 2019.

It was with great sadness that news of the death of Frank Dermody reached the club last Friday. Frank was a stalwart of the club for many years before returning to his native Galway. To his wife Ann, daughters Karen and Linda, son Ken, brothers Paddy, John, Mike and Noel, Aunt Bridget, grandchildren and extended family we extend our deepest sympathy. In Ithealann Dé go raibh a anam dilis.

Congratulations and best wishes for a long and happy life together  to Lorcan Heavey and Jenna Whoriskey who announced their engagement at Christmas.

Best wishes to Bryan Redmond on his retirement and Happy Birthday to Sandra Redmond who celebrates a significant birthday this week.

 

Upcoming events in Faughs - Medal presentation night is this Saturday 19th January. Our Annual Faughs Gathering is in the Members Bar on Sat 2nd February from 9pm. Next Traditional music session is on Thurs 7th Feb and the Club AGM is on Sun 10th Feb @ 11am.
