It was a busy afternoon in the Leinster club intermediate and junior football championships.

Shamrocks (Offaly), Two Mile House (Kildare), Courtwood (Laois) and Horsewood (Wexford) are through to the semi-finals of the Leinster club IFC. Rahan-parish outfit Shamrocks had Johnny O'Toole-Greene sent off before half-time, but still overcame Ballinabranna of Carlow on a 1-15 to 1-10 scoreline at Faithful Fields. Two Mile House were 4-15 to 1-16 winners over Round Towers, Lusk (Dublin) in Newbridge, Courtwood accounted for Louth champions St Mochta's by 2-9 to 1-10 in Ardee, while Horeswood edged out Longford's Rathcline 1-11 to 0-13 in New Ross.

The semi-finals pairings are Two Mile House v Courtwood and Shamrocks v Horeswood.

In the Leinster club JFC quarter-finals, Young Irelands (Louth) eased to a 2-14 to 0-5 win over Laois' Annanough in Dundalk, St Brigid's of Offaly defeated Dublin's St Finian's by 3-13 to 4-8 in Geashill and Kildare's Milltown pipped Carlow's Naomh Eoin, 1-8 to 1-7 in Hawkfield. Kilkenny intermediate champions Tullogher-Rosbercon received a bye to the semi-finals where they will face Young Irelands while St Brigid's are set to meet Milltown in the last four.

Meanwhile, St Maur's of Dublin beat Carlow's Erin's Own by 1-22 to 1-9 in their Leinster club JHC quarter-final in Lusk.
