What a whirlwind weekend with several teams in Championship action.
Senior hurlers were first up on Fri night and following a slow start went on to defeat Tomás Dáibhis
comfortably. Conor O'Shea led the comeback and was man of the match. Time and date of final TBA.

Senior camogie team faced St. Oliver Plunkett/Eoghan Ruadh in their B championship semi-final on
Sun morning and following the most exciting tie of the weekend came away one-point winners. They
now face Kilmacud Crokes in the final next Sunday in the National Arena, Abbotstown, throw in
3.00p.m. Bus leaving Clubhouse @ 1pm, to book your place contact Joanne Goody on 087 9553491.
U15s camogie played valiantly before losing their championship tie.


U16 hurlers play Skerries Harps next Sat, @ 3pm in Skerries in the C Championship semi-final.


U15As went down to St. Vincents in their final League game, the result here was academic as they
are already top of the league table. U15Bs had a convincing win over Erins Isle and remain top of the
League table. U14 team secured automatic promotion and second place on the League table
following a hard fought battle with St. Oliver Plunketts. U13As had a good win over Castleknock to
leave them in second place with a game in hand in the Div 1 League. U13 Div 5 had a good win over
Raheny and are now tied on top of the league table.

It was with great sadness that news of the death of Dan McInerney (Foxrock and Clare) reached the
club. Dan was a supporter of all things GAA and great friend of Faughs down through the years. In
ithealann Dé go raibh a anam dílis.

Golf Society away weekend results from Glasson – 1 st David McEntyre, 2 nd Colm O’Brien, 3 rd Pat
O’Brien, nearest pin Syl Byrne and Longest Drive Padraic Larkin. Many thanks to Padraic for all his
efforts in organising the trip.


Club Lotto – Jackpot €6,400. Numbers 11, 15, 18 & 20 No winner. One ‘Match 3’ winner – Maurice
Walsh. Next week’s jackpot will be €6,500.
