The Late Pat Joe Magee Moyobridge GAC recently lost one of its more famous members with the death of Pat Joe Magee Crossan Road. The late Pat Joe was an outstanding goalkeeper in his playing days for the club and was member of the 1953 team that won the Down Senior League with an undefeated record. When he retired he continued to play a great part in the club's activities and was a great supporter of all club functions. A few years ago he was honoured by the club with the Hall of Fame award and he deeply cherished this honour. His passing had left a great void in the community and he will be sadly missed. His son Pat Joe jnr is the present secretary of the club and the committee and members express their deepest sympathy to him and to his brothers and sisters and the entire Magee family circle.
