The late Danny Mageean The community of Ballykinlar has been greatly saddened by the death of Danny Mageean, who passed away on 16 October. Danny would have been 60 years married to his wife Maureen had he lived to 27 December. He was a lorry driver for Taggart's of Newcastle. He moved on to be a mechanic until he retired. His love of music and singing was well-known locally. He loved darts and was captain of the Four Roads team for a number or years. He also loved football, especially the Down team. He will be sadly missed by his wife Maureen, his five daughters Moira (Dunsford), Anne (Ballykinlar), Jean (Newcastle), Eileen (Newcastle), Coline (Newcastle), also his son-in-law, grandchildren and family circle.
