Lundy, Eamon
June 26, 2013The committee and members of Bryansford GAC wish to extend their deepest sympathy to the Lundy family on the death of Eamon.
A committed life member, Eamon was inducted into the Bryansford Hall of Fame in 2009 and was always on hand to offer help and guidance on many work projects carried out around St Patrick's Park.
As a former double All Ireland medal winner from 1960 and 1961, his enthusiasm for the Bryansford club was never in question and indeed we were privileged that he attended our recent Strictly Come Dancing final and had the opportunity to see all his friends.
The large turnout of Bryansford members and GAA friends at his funeral was testament to the man that we all knew as 'Big Eamon'. May he rest
in peace.
