The Men’s Shed attended the Tollymore National Outdoor Centre in Newcastle for the launch of a ‘Get High’ project which offers a ten-week programme linking five steps to wellbeing in a recreational sport situation. The project will be built around use of the ‘Hot Rock Climbing Wall’; while not suitable for all Shedders’ participation, all are welcome to attend and it provides an ideal opportunity for new more active Shedders to get involved. Anyone who may be interested or want to find out more should call out any Monday, Wednesday or Friday to the Shed. This project gets underway in September.

Jennifer and Aedin attended the PCSP in Newry and there will be exciting news soon arising from that.

The first heat of KYC ‘You’ve Got Talent’ took place on Tuesday past.

There is a push on to sell the unsold Home Bingos each week, if anyone can take as few as five bingos (£10) a week and sell them on then it would be a huge help; all the profit from Home Bingo goes to Camogie Coaching & Lifestyle programmes.
