Tuesday 23rd 7pm u14 Camogie An Ríocht v Kilclief; 7pm u18 Gaelic An Ríocht v Shamrocks

 

At the u14 Gaelic An Ríocht v Warrenpoint, we won by 3-15 to 1-12.

 

In the u14 Camogie Castlewellan v An Ríocht, the home side were much too strong.

 

At the Senior Camogie Portaferry v An Ríocht, the home side had two points to spare, 1-12 to 2-7.

 

At the u16 Gaelic An Ríocht v Annaclone/Drumgath, we went down 5-7 to 3-7.

 

Atticall v An Ríocht played a good game at u10 Gaelic on Thursday past.

 

In the Senior Gaelic An Ríocht v Saul, we won 1-13 to 2-8.

 

The u8 Gaelic An Ríocht v Rostrevor, saw the presentation of new jerseys by BP Electrics to our team (photo attached).

 

At the u12 Gaelic An Ríocht v Rostrevor, Kilkeel Credit Union presented new jerseys to our team. (photo attached)

 

Week 36 (green) Bingo House £200 Susan Cunningham and Jackie Cunningham; Week 37 (orange) available from McVeighs Costcutter Dunavil, P&J Morgan Newsagent Newry Street, Rafferty’s Garage or the club.

 

Easter Raffle tickets in aid of Camogie on sale now, anyone who can take a sheet please see Paula or Eleanor, the draw is on Thursday at the Easter Disco.

 

Tom Cunningham Chairman Kingdom Men’s Shed, presented Liam Reynolds, Chairman Drogheda Men’s Shed, with a titled frame to mark the KMS visit to DMS under the Irish Men’s Shed’s Association North/South Connector Project. The group then had lunch in the Monasterboice Inn before catching the ferry back from Greenore to Greencastle (photo attached).

 

There will be a Defibrillator Refresher at 7pm on Tuesday 7th May before the next An Ríocht Executive committee meeting, anyone interested should attend.

 

The third An Ríocht 5 Year Plan will be launched at 7.30pm on Tuesday 14th May and the new An Ríocht/Kingdom website will also be unveiled that evening.

 

All Club Coaches, Camogie & Football, are asked to attend Dunavil for ten minutes on Tuesday or Wednesday between 7pm and 8.30pm to complete GAA vetting; please bring passport and driving licence plus one of birth certificate, bank statement or rates bill.

 

If anyone is available to assist with a small piece of typing approx. 5,000 words, please call in to the office, thanks.

 

All Camogs of all ages please be aware, after 22nd April you cannot register to practice or to play this season so get that registration form returned now!

 

There will be no underage camogie on Easter Monday, 22nd April.

 

#KeepTheDate: The Fureys will be appearing at Dunavil as part of their 2019 tour on Friday 18th October before they head to Holland and Belgium for pre-Christmas dates.
