House raffles back in vogue

April 14, 2019

Mayobridge GAC are offering you the chance to win a new three-bedroom semi-detached home in Banbridge worth £150,000.

If ever there was a sign that the boom is back, it’s the recent resurgence in GAA house raffles.

Roscommon GAA famously raised over €1.4 million from their draw for a house in Dublin at the start of the year, Meath and Cavan GAA are undertaking similar fundraisers, while Kildare clubs Kilcock, Cappagh and Carbury are hoping to raise €300,000 from their house draw, which is a joint venture. Westport GAA are also offering one lucky person the life-changing chance to win a four-bedroom detached home worth €325,000 for just €100.

Now Mayobridge, the club of Down greats Mickey Linden and Benny Coulter, have got in on the act by offering you the chance to win a new three-bedroom semi-detached home in Banbridge worth £150,000. For £100, you will also be in with the chance of winning a new Honda CR-V car (second prize) and a cash prize of £10,000 (third prize).

The draw takes place on August 18 at 7.30pm in the Mayobridge GAA clubhouse. To enter, visit www.winanA1house.com.
