Congratulations to our first ever female chair Sheena Murray who has shown great innovation in her role as secretary last term taking the lead in key fundraisers for the club and her work behind the scenes. She will be replaced as secretary by Jenny Quinn who has shown brilliant endeavours last year as assistant secretary. Yvonne ONeill continues in the role of treasurer and will also take on the role of registrar. Yvonne brings a lot of experience to the table in terms of financial planning and fundraising and has been instrumental in putting the club on a sound financial footing going forward. We are also pleased to have Ciara Pickering    taking up the position of Irish Language & Cultural Officer. Our club are keen to promote Scór and her experience in this area is a great boost to the Club. All our officers are supported by a very strong and vibrant group bringing a mixture of experience and youthful enthusiasm. We welcome our new additions to the committee and the door is still open should others wish to become part of yet another history making period for Down’s youngest club. Ní neart go cur le chéile.
