Portaferry club notes

Lotto numbers this week 8, 11, 16, 22. No jackpot winner this week but Lotto consolation of £30 this week goes to Grainne Murray.  Next draw date 23/12/18.  Next weeks jackpot is now £3750. It would be a nice wee cash bump just in time for Christmas. Thanks for the continued support, £1 to enter.

 

The Club are still looking for a Juvenile Secretary and Camogie Secretary. Anyone who would be interested in either rolls or would like more details please contact Secretary.portaferry.dow @gaa.ie

 

Each year Portaferry GAC have 2 charities to support through fundraising during the year. This year we are letting our club members nominate 2 charities they would like us to support. Please email [email protected] before 31st December.

 

Over the past number of years our child protection officer was Jim Mullan. Unfortunately he decided to step down this year. The club would like to thank him for all his time and effort in this roll and good luck to his new successor. 

 

For this incoming season at least 1 member of the coaching staff for each team from u16 up will need a level 1 coaching course who already have the foundation coaching. If you are interested in level 1 please contact Sean Young at secretary.portaferry.down@gaa 

 

Any clubhouse key holders from 2018 season can you please return your keys to the club on 23rd Dec.

 

This Sunday 23rd Santa is coming to town. Come and meet Santa before his mad rush. Santa will be in the club rooms from 5pm. The adults can try and get into the Christmas spirit while enjoying mulled wine (non alcoholic availabke) and eating mince pies during the Christmas raffle at 6.30pm and all Ireland singed Kilkenny and Limerick jersey auction. Many prizes to be won and Craic to be had. If you would like to buy a raffle ticket please contact any senior Camogs or Hurler.
