New Down manager Paddy Tally is planning without Gerald McGovern and Shay Millar for next year’s campaign.

Burren full back Gerard McGovern departed for Australia earlier this year and has no immediate plans to return, while half forward Miller is also relocating to Oz, according to the Irish News. Tally could also be without Burren stalwart Kevin McKernan for the upcoming Dr McKenna Cup due to a shoulder injury.
