St. Patricks Portaferry Club Notes

Trip to Cocos - big thanks to Julie McCarthy who organised the end of season trip for our young players. The girls and boys had a great time. Thank you to the adults who helped out as well, they also had a great time.

Camogie Championship Final - Portaferry 0-07 Clonduff 0-10. Commiserations to our girls, keep the heads up. Your club is proud of you.

Congrats - to our Senior Camogs: Maria McNally, Niamh Mallon and Saoirse Sands, who have been nominated for Camogie Soaring Stars after their run to the All Ireland final. Good luck to the girls and Well done.

Thank You - to our Club President and Parish Priest, Fr Mulholland, for all his hard work in our club, parish, local schools and community over the past 9 years. Fr Mulholland conducted many club masses, attended many presentations, many matches and blessed numerous new shirts. We thank Fr Mulholland for all of this, and also the unseen work in the background. Fr Mulholland is for pastures new, and off to another Hurling and Camogie stronghold in Loughguile. Best wishes to Fr Mulholland, from all at St Patricks Portaferry. He will always be welcome back in Portaferry.
