From Croke Park to Club champion - Bredagh captain Catherine Rocks has finished a few eventful weeks on a high after leading the South Belfast club to victory over Ballyholland in the Down Intermediate Championship Final.

Rocks played for Down in the All Ireland Intermediate Final defeat to Cork earlier this month but made up for that disappointment with the 5-20 to 2-5 victory in Aghaderg. 

'This could be the start of something', says Catherine. 'I'm only 23 and I'm one of the more experienced players, so we have a very young team. Bredagh is also a young club but hopefully this is a sign of things to come'.
