Night at the Races - will take place on Saturday 5th May at 7.30pm. There will be 9 races in total and guaranteed great craic. Everyone welcome. If you would like to buy a horse (£10) or sponsor a race (£30), speak to Gemma O'Neill or any committee member ASAP. Thank you in advance.

 

Our Annual Tractor Run was cancelled on Easter Monday, due to the weather. A new date is to be confirmed, more details to follow. The Charities that the funds raised from this event will go towards are Action Cancer and Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust. Everyone welcome, spread the word.

 

U16 Camogie - this young team still require a MANAGER. If you are keen to get involved please speak to MaryJo Mallon or Colum Conlan. This is a vital age group in any sport and we need to give the girls a solid foundation to build their season on. Matches are usually Tuesday nights. Go on, give it a go!

 

Fixtures for the week ahead - U14 Hurling at home to Ballygalget on 13/04/18, 7pm throw in. Minor Hurling away to St Johns on 13/04/18 at 7.15pm. U16 Hurling at home to Ballygalget on 14/04/18 at 5pm. Reserve Hurling at home to Loughgiel on 15/04/18 at 1.30pm. Senior Hurling at home to Loughgiel on 15/04/18 at 3pm. Reserve Camogs at home to An Riocht, 16/04/18 at 7pm. U14 Camogs away to Bredagh, 17/04/18 at 7pm.

 

Club Charities - this year the 2 chosen charities we will be supporting are Action Cancer and the Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust. They are 2 very important charities and they do amazing work. We will have a few fundraising events throughout the year, keep an eye out for those.

 

Club Charities 2017 - £1000 was awarded to the 2 club charities from last year, Aware and Cancervive. This sum of money was matched by Santander. Thanks to all involved and those who helped raise the great amount.

 

New Jerseys - a massive thank you to Hugh Mullan for sponsoring the U14 Camogs with a new set of jerseys. The shirts look great, photo is on Facebook and with Hugh is players Roisin Murray and Ciara Doran. Thanks again to Hugh Mullan Butchers.

 

Season Tickets - are available again for this season for £30. For this you gain entry to Senior Camogie, Intermediate Camogie and Reserve Hurling matches. It is a bargain. .

 

Lotto - numbers this week 4, 11, 16, 18. 7 people had 3 numbers. £30 consolation prize to Hugh Dorian. Next weeks draw on 11/04/18. Next weeks jackpot now a MASSIVE £6050. Thanks for the continued support, £1 to enter.

 

Gaeltacht 2018 - for anyone interested in heading to the Gaeltacht this Summer, the link is on Club Facebook. Hard copies of the forms can also be got from Cultural Officer, Anne Sands. It's an amazing experience and very worthwhile.

 

Down Club Draw - there were no winners from our club in the March Draw. In our own club draw for those members, the winners are £50 Greg Mason and £20 Gerard McGrattan. Can everyone please make sure payments are up to date.

 

Easter Draw - A big thank you to everyone who donated to and participated in the juvenile Easter draw. £917 was lifted and will go towards the much needed new goalposts for our young players. Well done to all the winners - John Mawhinney, Jane Hegan, Bernie Hepburn, Ronan Murphy, Grace Mccourt, Liam Fitzsimmons, Eimear McCarthy, Carli McConnell, Sinead Orr, John Gerard Mason, Cliodhna Dorrian, Oran Young, Stephen Wilson, Brian Vance, Padraig Magee, Chloe Boyd, Paul Smyth, Mary McKenna and Padraig Mason.

 

Sponsor a Match - this season we are giving local businesses and families the chance to sponsor a match ball for each home game. All Senior matches have been sponsored. We have 8 Reserve Matches in the Antrim Hurling League, and 6 Senior Camogie matches in the Down League.  A pre match photo with the captain or player of your choice will be taken, and it will be promoted on the Club Facebook, Twitter and in the local newspapers. The cost is £40 per ball and if you are interested contact Fergal Rogers or Maria McNally
