Such a difference a few years makes. The man who was laughed out of the job interview a few years ago has turned donegal from being one of the poorest sides in Ulster to one of the top sides in Ireland. An amazing turn around which cannot be mentioned enough. Thanks for taking us into the 21st century.

Yea thanks a mill. Jim and his background crew. As a long term Donegal supporter it is indeed a privilage to to travel all over the country in support of the lads. Your dedication and hard work is relly so evidant on the playing field. Players are so well coached and drilled that it is so obvious that each player knows his role within the team and their bady language and condifance is so very obvious. Long may this continue.

I remember Armagh only a few seasons ago beating us off the park and Armagh players after the match laughing at our lads . All I have to say now is "How do you like me now " !!! Well done Jim and the boys !! Donegal Abu

No red hugh.... It was our lads laughing at our lads at that Armagh game, not the Armagh lads...!

Do you remember Ricey mocking our lads on the pitch in Clones back in 2007 when they hammered us? You could hear it in the stands he was that loud. I'd say some of the lads playing that day remember it and must take great pride at where they are at now. Jim'll fix it. There's an All-Ireland in us soon, just bursting to get out and grab it!

In fairness the set up was that big of a joke back then i would not blame any of the donegal players for laughing. Remember the county board turned down mcguinness and put john joe in charge! People were calling for mcfadden to never wear the county jersey again. Mcfadden was alway a good forward but there no no supply what so ever going into the forward line. Supporters should always remember is is one group who want to win even more than us and that group is the players. So when it looks like the players dont give a **** then there is something seriously wrong!! Cant see that happening with Jim!

Jimmyjojo, in fairness Tyrone are hardly at a terrible place. They lost by a few points and were missing quite a few players. Judge Tyrone on what they do over the next few seasons.

Geoff, did I mention Tyrone were in a bad place? I was talking about how far we have come since then. How could any man write off Tyrone in fairness, we only beat youse by a coupla points. Tyrone will still be knocking on the door for Sam this year again, just like back in 2008. Simonsays, Ricey is Ryan McMenamin, Ulster's chief wind up merchant.

In fairness things have gone good but the standard in Ulster has come well back form a few years ago, i dont think donegal would beat Tyrone if they were still in their prime. I would say the back room team is doing a good bit of work also and if Jim could get it all his own way he would be playing more of his own crew (glenties and St Michaels). WE will beat Down but cant see us doing much after that.

We can count our lucky stars that we have this man for another 3years after this. I hope he does a Micky Harte on it now with Donegal. Can you believe how far we've come from that dark day in Crossmaglen 2 years ago!
