Today we saw the first of this year's All-Ireland senior hurling championship semi-finals take place.

Neighbours Kilkenny and Waterford went head to head for a place in the final with this clash throwing in at 3.30pm.

Kilkenny are the defending champions and once again they looked very assured when defending their Leinster title.

The same could not be said for Waterford who suffered a heavy defeat to Tipperary in their Munster decider.

Can they put that defeat behind them? Or will Kilkenny power to another final?
