Flanagan, Paddy

Deepest sympathy is extended to the family of the late Paddy Flanagan, Carran West, Garrison who has passed away. He was in his 101st year. Paddy and his wife were blessed with a family of sixteen. Paddy Flanagan was a noted Gaelic footballer in his youth and played football in Fermanagh, Leitrim and for the famous cross-border club Corlea in Co. Donegal. His other great interests were traditional Irish music and he played the fiddle at gatherings all over the north-west. That musical tradition is carried on his large extended family. He also enjoyed playing 25 and was an active participant until very recently.
