Donegal manager Declan Bonner lined out in goal for his club Na Rossa yesterday as they clinched a place in the county JFC quarter-finals.
Filling in for regular 'keeper Ryan McGonagle, the 54-year-old - who played his first adult game for the club 40 years ago - conceded a goal in the second half, but Na Rossa still prevailed on a 1-9 to 1-8 scoreline in Foden.
The 1992 All-Ireland winning corner forward's commitment to his beloved club clearly knows no bounds as he has also served as their chairman for the past six years.
