It was a crunch evening in the All-Ireland SFC, with Group One of the Super 8s coming to a conclusion.
We had drama aplenty at Castlebar, where Mayo entertained Ulster champions Donegal in a straight shoot-out for an All-Ireland semi-final place,
At the same time, Munster champions Kerry took on Meath in Navan. If the Kingdom could avoid defeat, they would be assured of a place in the last four of the race for the Sam Maguire Cup.
Meanwhile, two hours earlier, there was also a massive match in Portlaoise, where Dublin and Cork locked horns in the All-Ireland U20 FC final.
