Letterkenny Gaels Club Notes.

The senior footballers had three points to spare over Urris at Páirc na nGael on Sunday afternoon last. This win leaves the lads top of Division four at the half way point of the league. There will be no games for the next two weeks with league action expected to resume on the last weekend of June. Please see Club Facebook for fixture details.

The Club Bingo Jackpot of €9500 was won by Mary Doherty on Monday night last. The Jackpot is reset at €3000 from next Monday night.

Camogie training continues at the pitch every Friday evening at 6.15pm and will continue during the summer months. New members are always welcome.

The U-14 hurlers travelled to the Ulster Hurling Féile in Belfast last weekend. The lads were in a tough group where they competed against some of the big Antrim hurling clubs. After mixed results during the tournament they ended up playing local rivals Burt where they were victorious. Thanks to Ray, Stephen, James and the parents who travelled on the day.
Next up this Thursday the U-14’s take on Burt in the Championship final at Páirc na nGael. All support welcome.
Underage hurling training for U-6, U-8, U-10 and U-12 continues outdoors at Páirc na nGael every Thursday evening from 6.30-7.30pm. All welcome. Hurls and helmets can be borrowed.

Under 6, 8 and 10 Underage football training continues every Sunday at Páirc na nGael at 11am. New children are welcome to join. Anyone interested should contact John McDermott (086) 856 1768 or Brian Sweeney (087) 228 2386 for any age group.

Michael Murphy Sports & Leisure in Letterkenny are currently stocking Club gear which includes replica jerseys, training tops, jackets, bobble hats, scarfs etc.
